Nasser:  I had prostate cancer in 2005 and was treated with proton radiation at loma linda university medical center in loma linda California.  I met several men there who had low PSAs but it was gradually increasing like you describe yours.  The doctors there claimed that gradual increase was the key to detecting it early.  If it were me and it continues to increase, I would want a biopsy at some point.  Sorry to pass this on but apparently you were already concerned about it.. Ohh my PSA was 4.5 when I had cancer.  It started at about 2 and worked its way up to 4.5 over a period of a couple of years.I met 3-4 guys who had PSAs that were in the 2-3 range who had biopsys that confirmed prostate cancer.  After the Proton Radiation treatments, my psa is now.01 and I have no side effects and was never sick or felt bad as a result of the cancer or  the treatments... Its like I never had prostate cancer... just a nice 3 month vacation in southern California back in early 2006.  Hope this helps. If you have any questions feel free to contact me... Claytex
