How common is it for a PSA to be elevated after hormone therapy, radiation and seed implant? Original PSA was 9.3. During hormone therapy (Casodex) and shots (Eligard), the PSA decreased to 0.1. Small Beam Radiation and seed implant followed. 4 months after seed implant, and while still taking Eligard shots, the PSA level is 9.5.
Does anyone know if this is normal, or does this mean the cancer has spread?
