Green Light Laser Treatment vs TURP

I have BPH.   I have been taking Flomax and Proscar and they have not been very effective.  I had a biopsy and the results were negative. As part of the biopsy, ultasound images were taken which showed the size and shape of the prostate.  

The size and shape have ruled out microwave therapy.
My understanding is that TURP and GreenLight Laser therapy are about the only options left.

Are there any studies that compare TURP to GreenLight Laser therapy?

Hi.
The technology is fairly new , and hence  its doubtful if there is any good published comparison,  along a with a secondary validation study.
Unfortunately, the only citation I found is in German (MMW Fortschr Med. 2007 Feb 15;149(7):7. ) and it had no a accompanying English abstract.
Perhaps it would be best to inquire how large the experience is of the doctor/instititution    in terms of the new modality and ask them for their own opinions regarding its advantages and disadvantages over TURP.
