Radiation of the Prostate bed

by nick1313, Sep 23, 2009 11:15PM
I am scheduled tomorow for my first radiation treatment of my Prostate Bed.  I had a RP 6 years ago.
I went 4 years with psa at .001.   Then last year it hit .14 then one month ago it reached .2.  The .2 started a series of tests.  Bone scan, Abdominal MRI with and without contrast.  Everything came back negative.

When I had my prostate removed 6 years ago my gleeson was 6.

My queston is this?   For those of you that have had the thirtysomething treatments of radiation, What can I expect?

I'm told incontinence, ed, and perhaps rectal bleeding.   AM I MISSING ANYTHING ON THE LIST?

Thank you,
Nick
