My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer and will be undergoing a robotic prostatectomy the first part of March. He will be living with us during his recovery. I'm preparing our home for his arrival and am curious about the stairs. Our guest room is upstairs and I'm worried that this will be difficult for him initially. Should I prepare a room for him downstairs? Or is this unnecessary. Is there anything else that I can do to make his stay in our home more comfortable after the surgery? I'm guessing that a shower rather than a bath will be needed but I don't know what else I can do for him. Any suggestions?
