Something up with my prostate?

WARNING, MAY BE EXPLICATE!!!!

Ok, so, today I shaved my groin area (it's been a while, so i guess that's why i hadn't noticed anything). And when I had completed, I looked, and my right side was noticeably larger than my left side. Mind you it wasn't a football, but turning sideways in the mirror, it is definitely noticeable. Doing some memory searching, I remember about four, five years ago I had to go to the doctor because I had a case of UTI (Urinary Tract Infection). Of course at the time I didn't know that, I just knew I had this horrible fever, I was sick to the stomach but not throwing up (sometimes I wished I did), and I was just EXTREMELY tired, I could barely get up. So the doc gave me some anti-something pills and I followed the perscription to the "T".

Not too long after it had successfully gone away, about a week and a half, it came back, but this time hit me like a box of rocks. I mean I was out for the count. I still wasn't throwing up, but I couldn't get out of bed either, it hurt just to stand up and I was so dizzy I couldn't even stand on my own two feet. I also have some kind of skin fungus. I've been trying for years to get rid of it, ( It's called Tinea Versicolor), but I, unfortunately, have found it very difficult to keep up with the perscription, so it hasn't gone away (I know it runs in the family, my father has it as well). It's practically covered my entire body by now, I can see a few patches of uncovered skin, but other than that, it seems like it's just laying dormant for a while. Usually when someone slaps my back or if i'm extremely hot (or when i have a fever) it REALLY flares up and starts this HORRIBLE itch that covers my entire body all at once. It's in my scalp as well, which makes it look sometimes like i have dandruft. When I went to the doctor for it, during one of my worst ever flare-ups, the nurse, i remember, said it was the worst case she had ever seen.

At first, the doc said it was something to do with Yeast, which could also have been related to my recent UTI. Right after I got the UTI's, my little brother and I caught the flu, and I was knocked out on that one as well. I remember that's where my first flare-up occured and it was also the first time I realized i had something. I thought it was part of the flu symptoms, but now, i've had it for years, and it hasn't just "gone away" like i thought it would (it's my fault for not taking the medicine like i should: Selinium Sulfide).

I remember it was very odd when I got the UTI, because the doctor kept asking me, "How often do you have sex?" and I just kept saying..."I don't, never have". To this day I'm still a virgin, never had sex (i'm 21). I didn't understand that until the doc explained that men who have sex find it a common occurance, but the fact that I had never had sex contradicted that because, there I was with it, not once, but twice, and very badly too, not a minor case.

Do you think all of this could possibly be related somehow? I don't know what the cause might be, but now that I see that, what looks to be my prostate (the right side of the genital and about two-three inches above), seems larger, I have to say something, because I don't know what this is or what it could be.

So far, I don't see any pains. My urine doesn't smell. no blood coming out of urine or sperm, no back pains (unless i'm trying to sleep and i'm laying on my back, i find it very difficult to lay completely flat on my back).

Any ideas, help, suggestions?

no, it's not the groin itself, it above the groin, and to the right. actually, i think i'm changing what i think it is, i'm thinking now appendacitis. i didn't know my definitions and i heard of prostate this and that before. but someone told me it was something to do with the appendics, and it's actually rather large compared to the other side. so, it doesn't hurt or anything, but they said to get it checked like NOW.

Hi,

Your post is a little vague, but I am guessing you are referring to a disparity in the size of the testicles. It would be best to have yourself examined by a doctor. At your age, one of the things to think about would be cancer of the testicles. These cases when captured early can be cured.
More common scenarios I could think of would be a skin irritation, causing swelling making one testicle appear larger. If there is no specific pain or itch, the condition should improve in a few days.
The absence of symptoms of fever or pain while voiding urine is a good thing, the chances of UTI would be remote.  Stay positive.
