One published report shows that frequency of ejaculation is associated with a lower prostate cancer incidence later in life. From this study, the authors intimate that ejaculation, by either masturbation or sexual activity, has a protective effect against prostate cancer development later in life. Results from this study should be taken with a grain of salt, as the determinants of prostate cancer are multi-factorial.
