blood in urine post prostate biopsy

It's been 13 days since prostate biopsy. (Gleason 7 (3+4) ).
Had no blood in urine initially; then, following ejaculation (6 days ago, bloody), urine has continued to be bright red.
Scheduled for CAT scan and bone scan in two days, and to see doctor two days after scans.
Can you advise regarding blood in urine; whether at this point there is cause for concern.

Hi there!

It is not uncommon to find blood in urine/ semen following a prostate biopsy. This is likely to heal in a few days/ weeks and should not be anything to worry about.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
