well my father in law was diagnosed with prostate cancer about 3 years ago and they did a bone scan at that time.  it showed some lesions on his bones as well.  they did a new scan last friday and we got the results today.  the only bones in his body that aren't affected are his legs and head.  the dr said that very seldom does someone with prostate cancer not end up with another form of cancer as well.  I don't know if this answered your question or not, but it's all i know.  gl with everything!!
