My husband had an prostate biopsy and the urologist told hom he had multiple nodules on the prostate. What are
prostate nodules? and are they always cancerous? and what might be treatment options? He is 62 years old.
Nodules palpable tissue masses. Regarding your inquiry about malignancy, this is determined through pathological evaluation of the biopsy. Treatment options will depend on the result of the biopsy. If cancer is present locally, surgical treatment is the gold-standard.
