recovery after robotic prostatectomy

I had a robotic prostatectomy after having radiation therapy, external and seeds 5 years previously.  It has been 7 weeks and I am still in pain.  Is this normal?

Hi there!

Slight amount of pain and discomfort is common following surgery. This is due to inflammation and is likely to subside in a few weeks. Meanwhile I would suggest continuing with the pain medications that would have been prescribed by your treating doctor.
