severe pain in scrotum

it all started 3 weeks ago when  my gf was playing with me and my right testicle went up into my body and she had to push it back down, this is the first time this has happened. A few days later i was getting mild pains until 1 day i was walking around town all day and when i got home the pain became severe, i went to the hospital and was told after blood tests that its an infection in the testicles and was put on 2 different antibiotics and declafe but couple of days later i had to go back because i had a reaction to the pills so i was put on ciproxin 500mg twice a day. I am on this for the past 2 weeks with 2 days left of medication and my pain is still very bad.. what could this be? (my right testicle went into my body again during sex) i had Inguinal Hernia when i was a child and i was diagnosed with chronic prostatatis in 2009)is it possible to be torsion? i dont think i was examined well enough to rule it out. please help

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? Was there an imaging study or ultrasound done? I understand your concern regarding your symptoms. If the pain persisted despite the antibiotics, further evaluation may need to be done. It is possible also for hernia to recur and direct clinical examination is also important. Take care and do keep us posted.
