Dear Doc, I have this swollen vein near the my anus and perenium, I just wanna know if there's over-the-counter medicines I can buy. And where or how do I get this? Is this due to carriying heavy objects or weight lifting? Hoping for your answers. Thanks!
I recommend seeing you general phsysician for an anoscopy to determine if you have hemorrhoids, which can treated with over-the-counter meds or surgery. Also if you are over 50 (or 40 and african-american) make sure to get a digitial rectal examination, PSA level checked, colonoscopy, and an exam for inguinal hernia.
