throbbing pain in left testicles

what causes not a severe pain but a nagging pain in the left testicle

Thank you for your question. Testicular pain could be caused by a host of different things 1) hernia 2) trauma 3) torsion (twisting of the testicle) 4) epididymitis (an inflammation often caused by infection of the testicle 5) testicular tumor 6) kidney stone.

Testicular pain should be considered an emergency unless proven otherwise. It would be prudent for you to seek out the care of a health care practitioner.
