Would love to have an interpretation of the Radiologist report of a recent MRI: Amended Report:
History:  Has neck pain, and has paresthesia along dorsal right forearm and hand, r/o  ra diculopathy.  Request MRI c-spine no contrast.

Comparison: X-ray 08/27/2014

Technique: Routine cervical spine MRI without contrast.

Findings: There is normal cervical alignment.  The vertebral bodies are normal in morphology.  There are no suspicious marrow or disc signal abnormalities. The imaged portions of the brain and the visible surrounding soft tissue structures are normal.  The imaged portions of the spinal cord are normal in appearance.

C2-3: Small disc osteophyte complex causes no neural compromise. C3-4: Broad disc osteophyte complex causes moderate right and severe left neuroforaminal narrowing. C4-5: Uncovertebral osteophytes and significant right-sided facet degenerative changes contribute to moderate right neuroforaminal narrowing.  No central stenosis or left neuroforaminal narrowing. C5-6: Broad posterior disc osteophyte complex causes mild central stenosis moderate bilateral neuroforaminal narrowing. C6-7: Broad posterior disc osteophyte complex causes mild bilateral neuroforaminal narrowing.  No central stenosis. C7-T1: Normal.

Sounds like degenerative spinal stenosis.  Have you tried physical therapy? Usually it's treated conservatively with meds, hot/cold compression, PT, etc. until symptoms are severe, then a referral for minimally invasive spine surgery might be needed.
