MRI for patient with a JOSTENT stend
In 2001 my mother (70 years old) had a 3mm / 16mm "Jostent" metal stent (produced by the now no longer operating Swedish company, JOMED) installed into a coronary artery and she now needs to have an MRI scan. I believe that to ensure that the MRI scan is safe to perform, we need to find out the ferromagnetic characteristic of this stent. How can I find out about this stent? Has anyone performed an MRI on a patient with this stent brand?  Thank you so much for your help.
