CT Of ABDOMEN AND PELVIS

Doctor iam a scheduled for a ct of my abdomen and pelvis next week, Been unable to eat much/nauseous and occasional blood in stool with stool forms changing daily. My question is would you recomend contrast for my ct scans or does without contrast still get a pretty good pic in evaluating organs etc.
                                    Thanks

CT scan with contrast would be required for complete evaluation in your case, please note iodinated contrast that we use in CT scan have some adverse effects so your blood urea and serum creatinine need to checked. Hopefully you dont have asthma or any drug allergy that will make use of contrast difficult.
