Allergy or nothing

Had MRI in 2008 for brain, w/contrast.  when injected with dye had instant burning pain on right side 2" by 6" side of calf.  Lasted 10 secocnds.  Hurt, I yelled it burned so much.  Then, it went away.  Techs thought nothing of it and MRI was completed.  Now, I need to have MRA ,MRV and MRI.  I really know this willl be done much thurough with dye.
Was that a sensitivity, an allergy or just a fluke?  Should I mention it to new place?  Thanks for your help.  Other than that burning in calf, I was fine.

You should mention it to your new place -- it is important they know.  Sometimes the contrast has unknown or new effects in different people.  It could be a random coincidence but that being said, it could be a sensitivity.  It is very unlikely to be an allergy.
