For the last 10 years I have been under the care of a neurologist for possible MS. My neuro says sometimes it takes over 10 years. Of note, I have had 2 attacks of trigeminal face pain with trips to ER for dilaudid pain relief. Also to note is that all of my mri's have been normal with no lesions.
My recent mri is also normal, but states I have sphenoid sinus disease?
I have found this can be related to retrobulbar optic neuritis. Can you give me some insight and how this might be related to MS or could be a secondary etiology.....
