I recently went to the ER for stroke symptoms (headache, dizzy, tunnel vision, left arm/hand/facial numbness, confusion...)
I was told it was likely a complicated migraine, or possibly a TIA.
I don't have medical insurance so I cannot afford a battery of tests to rule everything out. What would be the most revealing test to have done? my biggest concerns are possible TIA, vasospasm, or PFO. ( i know that there's no test that can check the brain and heart at the same time. I mostly want to know what type of brain scan is most revealing: CT angiogram? MRI? MRA? with contrast? without contrast?
