Extreme pain, with peeling skin in feet

My little brother has had to live with this condition for years. His feet are constantly in pain, the skin on the bottom of his feet is extremely white and peeling. He has said that having anything touch his feet causes pain, and has to sleep with feet uncovered to lessen the pain. He has been to many doctors and was never diagnosed with anything. He has since lost faith with the medical community and just suffers with his pain. Does anyone have a clue as to what it may be?

Hello PBritt,

It seems there is some nerve entrapment that is triggering some shooting pain. Has nerve conduction studies been done? Take gabapentin, lyrica for long term management of the pain. Consult your doctor for the further course of action.

Hello savage985,

The healing would take some time. Be confident and do not lose hope. Have faith in God. Sometimes disease takes on its own course. Consult your doctor for the further course of action.
