Hello,
Thanks for responding. It is all isolated to my right lung. I get occasional moderate tightness in the right lung, especially the back.
Not sure if this is a coincidence but, for the last 3 months (I have had the hemoptysis for much longer), I have started to experience mild sinusitis (no noticable pain) with post nasal drip. This typically irritates my right throat and the tonsils.
All tests: sputum, blood tests have been unremarkable.
Thanks,
Hi,
What other symptoms are present? And were the initial test results unremarkable? There are many potential reasons for hemoptysis including pulmonary issues, inflammatory or autoimmune conditions, cardiac, and even trauma. It can also come from bleeding outside the lungs and airways. If it persists, further evaluation may need to be done. Referral to infectious specialist may also rule out infectious cause. Take care and do keep us posted.
