Hereditary Disease?

by EJSmith, Jul 22, 2009 11:47AM
There are a number of people in my family that have similar symptoms, developing over time.  They are all treated symptomatically, but I wonder if there is an underlying hereditary problem.  For example: heart and blood pressure issues, vascular problems, confusion, and an actual drooping of one side of the body - predominantly one side of the face most noticeable in the eyelid and mouth and even the breast tissue.  The drooping, especially, develops over time.  Bouts of uneven pupil dialation, dizziness, and bowel issues occur.  Even unexplained sudden loss of potassium and iron from the bloodstream resulting in emergency room visits.  It seems to me a number of these things could be caused by impaired electrical impulses in the body or a vascular problem- but we have never found an answer for these issues.  Does anyone have any ideas what our family may have?
