Hip numbness/tingling & pain!!!!!!

About a yr ago or so my hip started to basically fall asleep, my left hip only, it does it only before I am about to go to sleep. Never during the day or even if I nap only at night. It starts to tingle, burns a little bit,  feels like it goes numb but the pain is so annoying. It hurts a lot, I can't sleep I toss and turn for hours. I have Tourettes syndrome, could this be a nerveous problem? I cannot stand it anymore, I am going to see a dr as soon as my insurance kicks in but that will not be for a month. Ide love nothing more than possible answers, Ide greatly appreciate it..

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you?  If there was no previous trauma to the hips, this could be due to musculoskeletal or neurological causes. There are not enough evidence linking TS with hip pain. Pain relievers may help provide relief. However, if it persists, you may need to have this checked by your doctor for proper management. Direct clinical examination is essential. Take care and do keep us posted.

Hey there, I'm not a doc or anything but I have the same issue with one of my hips, sometimes if I sit for a while my hip hurts so bad I cant walk, I do find that when sleeping if I put a firm pillow between my knees it stops the hip from going numb.
Hope this helps!
