ID Anemia

by lisarizz, Nov 05, 2009 05:46AM
So I got all my blood work back and I am ID Anemic. I was given Trimagen once a day by the hematologist and Vitamin D 50,000 units once a week from my primary.. After researching Trimagen, I saw it was basically a multi vitamin.. and I am not understanding how that will help with my iron. My mom is ID anemic and she takes a regular iron pill. Also they said all other blood work was fine, but I searched online and somethings just don't add up. These are the results. Can anyone please help me understand is everything else ok?

Like I said when looking online it does not add up.. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much!
