I was diagnosed with Polymyalgia Rheumatica a few years ago. I have been on steroids since (10 mgs). Last year I was also put on Neurotin for nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity pain. My question is this - I have severe lower back pain, both hipsHip joint replacement Hip pain and both legs. At times it is very difficult to walk too much because of the pain. I have read up on PMR and am not so sure it is what I have. Not all it says describes how I feel and the pain I have. The Dr said with the steroids I should not have any pain - but I do all the time - sometimes a lot worse than others. I do know my sediment rate was extremely high but could it be something else. Also, sometimes it feels as though something (whether ligamentAnterior cruciate ligament (acl) injury Tendon vs. ligament, nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity or whatever) gets caught on possibly the hipHip joint replacement Hip pain bone (it is definitely in that area) and hurts extremely bad - is that not related to the other. Let me explain the pain a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys. Across the very lower part of my back (at the top of the hip line) I have severe pain. Both my hips hurts really bad and both my legs hurt badly. I also have pain in both ankles (almost as though there is a tight metal brace around them) and sometimes my feet and toes even hurt. Walking definitely makes it more painful, especially if I am walking around the yard. The joints in my arms and hands get sore but very rarely painful. Could this be something else other than PMR? And would PMR cause the nerve damage in the lower back? Does weather affect PMR because in the cold wintry days (or rainy damp days) I am in agony. Advice would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately at this time I have no medical insurance or even a job so I can not go for more test
