My body is working against me...need answers...

Is this my liver? Is this residual sulymptoms of the cholecystectomy?
I am 31 yo female. History of  thyroid cancer with total thyroidectomy and 2 round of I-131. I had a baby in September- normal vaginal birth caused some PPD but all is ok I think. It caused gallstones and I had gallbladder removed in February. The pain I had before surgery is gone. But I now have different pain...all the time! It's anywhere from an ache to a sharp pain under my right floating ribs. Sometimes it feels superficial and sometimes it feels deep. It's there basically all day everyday. Lately my eyesight seems off and I'm thinking my sclera of my eyes are turning yellow, but other people say they don't look yellow. I've seen my surgeon after the cholecystectomy several times and he says it's not my liver. My liver enzymes were elevated a couple months after surgery and went down a couple months after that. Now since my symptoms feel to have increased, in afraid to get more bloodwork. I have tons of bruises on my legs...they appear for no apparent reason. I also have lost a lot of weight and can't seem to gain any back. I take a LOT of Tylenol and/or ibuprofen everyday but never go over recommended dose (although I have in the past a long long time ago though). I never really feel nauseous. I don't have any visible marks or bruising on my abdomen. It doesn't even hurt when I press on my liver area. Well it kinda hurts like in between my pancreas and liver. I don't know. These issues are VERY real and occupy my mind all the time. I'm so worried. Any advise at all would be appreciated! Sorry for the long post...

Well I had bloodwork done. Everything was fine with exception to BUN 20, GFR 56, creatinine 1.2, low calcium, slightly low iron, TBIC 239, carbon dioxide was very slightly high as well. What could be going on? Kidneys? How are my eye issues related to all of this?

Hi,
I understand your concern regarding your symptoms. If there are bruises and you have significant weight loss, you may need to have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Additional diagnostic tests may also help determine the underlying cause. Knowing the test results will help you deal with anxiety or worrying. You may also benefit from a referral to an ophthalmologist. Talk to your doctor about this also and discuss the management plan. Take care and do keep us posted.
