Okay. I had surgery last year. And now 8 months later i have pain in the area of the surgery. two of the insions were infected. Now i was doing okay. But a couple of days agoI was having pain and i still am. When im moving and when im being completely still it hurts. Theres a wall or something under my skin. i can feel it. Theres also a lumpLumps in the breasts. The dr thought it was a pulled muscle but i dont think it is. Could it be a hernia? It it a possibility? Will i have to have surgery? Will i have to stay in the hospital? Help!
The "wall" is probably just scar tissue. It happens all the time and can cause pain. There really isn't much you can do once you have the scar tissue. The scar tissue usually is hitting a nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity and causes irritation/pain. Sometimes it can resolve on it's own, but again, there's really not much that can be done, if it is scar tissue. If it is scar tissue you can have it removed, which would be an out-patient procedure. Many times it's just post-op pain and happens for an unknown reason and goes away eventually. Just give it time.
