Rapidly Enlarging Spleen/Swollen Lymph Node

What could be happening to me?  My spleen is enlarging every month.  It is now 15.8 cm and a few months ago was 11cm.  Also, my lymph node closest to the liver is enlarged, red, and painful.  My blood tests are somewhat abnormal including 4 "atypical lymphocytes", signs of being anemic, liver function abnormalities, and neurological symptoms.
Doctors have taken dozens of the usual tests and have ruled out the usual panel of diseases or viruses.  EBV virus is most likely ruled out, no Lyme disease, no HIV.  I have been sick for months and seem to be getting nowhere except my spleen keeps getting bigger and I feel worse everyday.  Please help.  Any ideas, insights, experiences are greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? Splenomegaly or enlarging spleen can be caused by a  number of infections and diseases such as infections ( viral, bacterial or parasitic ), cirrhosis and other diseases affecting the liver, various types of hemolytic anemia, metabolic disorders, pressure on the veins in the spleen or liver and blood cancers, such as leukemia and Hodgkin's disease. I hope you were ab;e to identify the cause of your enlarging spleen. Take care and do keep us posted.

I have had Ebstein Barr before. but now about 5 years later I have a swollen lymphnode on my neck, and I went to the Doctor with diahrrea, unusual stool color, and very very tired and weak, had a fever of 101 the day I went, and had night seats and chills. he did many blood tests said no sign of Epstein Barr, etc. He did tell me there is a sign of parvo (which animals have), but said no need to worry, that many many have it in their sytem. but I am not too happy with this. The lump keepsgoing up and down on my throat and is big. I also have a pain every so often not in the front left side, but more so more towards the back between the under arm and the back. I believe there is something auto immune going one and a pattern here, but don't now what to do. thanks

Sorry to hear about all that.  What you are experiencing can make you feel very uncomfortable.
Have the doctors done a full cbc - white blood count, absolute lymph. count, etc. There is loads of information out there.  Go to the CLL forum and you can begin informing yourself just on that kind of problem. Some of those people may be able to put you in the direction you need to go.  Do the docs suspect leukemia of ANY type?  Don't want to alarm you with that question because I have a niece that "all" that needed to be done was have her spleen out.

When you go to the doctors and they run blood test get a copy for yourself always. And keep hunting and researching on the internet.
