Reiter's syndrome
How much time are we talking about for early detection of REITERS SYNDROME. Is 6 months before testing called early or late?

Hi,
Getting a definite diagnosis of Reiter's syndrome may take some time. This will depend on  lot of factors such as the symptom present, co-morbidities, and the body's immune system. Sometimes not all symptoms are present at once. Certain features, especially the skin lesions, are so characteristic that their presence, along with joint involvement, is enough to make the diagnosis of Reiter's syndrome. A test for the HLA-B27 genetic type may also need to be done.  Take care and best regards.
