Right side - Under the ribcage discomfort?

A couple of weeks ago my 34 year old husband began to have random discomfort in his right side, under the rib cage. It is not exactly a pain, just a tightening feeling similar to Stitch, only the ache is not relieved when he breathes deep or presses a hand to the spot. He says when it happens, the way he sits affects the level of discomfort (If he sits forward, it is most uncomfortable) and he feels a little bloated, however this does not occur after eating or drinking.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

sounds like Gall bladder cholic but it is food and drink related , low fat food , dont drink or eat too late in the evening, no alcohol no, Dairy or cheese, can be very painful, amazingly Beets and cucumber ease it, could mean Gall stones if it gets worse get it checked out.
