Sharp pain in penis since childhood

When I was an 8 year, I started getting a sharp pain in the tip/inside of my penis. I am currently 17, and I still experience this pain 4 to 5 times a day, on one or two days a month. I have not had sex, or engaged in any sexual activity besides kissing, so an STD is most likely out of the question. I doubt this is a kidney stone, because normally the pain gets worse and worse until you are done passing the stone. There is occasionally some slight red coloring on the tip of my penis, which does not seem to hurt. Standing up and sitting down seems to trigger the pain sometimes, while other times the pain comes and goes for no reason. Anyone experience similar symptoms or have an idea of what's wrong with me?

Hi,
If there is no other symptoms present, just the sharp pain and been there for a long time, this may be due to anatomical or neurological causes. Urethritis usually present with pain, urinary frequency, abdominal pain and penile discharge. If it persists, have thsi checked by a urologist for proper evaluation. Your complete medical history and direct clinical examination will help determine the underlying cause. Urinalysis may also be indicated to rule out infection. Take care and best regards.

Hi,
How are you?  Are there other symptoms like swelling, discharge or difficulty in urination? This could be due to urethritis, infection or possibly nerve-related. To determine the diagnosis, direct clinical examination is important. Have this checked by your doctor or a urologist for proper evaluation. Treatment will usually depend on the underlying cause. Take care and do keep us posted.
