Thank you for your response! I didn't know where else to go or who to ask. I went back to my MD and told him I was still having this issue. He mentioned again that it was nothing to worry about. But I am worried about it because it STILL bothers me and it has bothered me for more than a few months. I went to my Urologist as well a couple days ago and he did a sonogram of my Prostate, while doing so he found a cyst in my Prostate. And mentioned this could be the root of my problem. And I am not sure I believe this I still believe maybe the cyst appeared as a result of the small rash on the crown of the penis. Sometimes after sex or masturbation it swells up a bit and the red dot is more visible. I've been tested SEVERAL times for HSV2 through blood tests and the results come back negative. Also got tested for HIV, Syphilis, Ghonnorea, and Chlamydia all results came back negative. I just don't know what to do anymore and this is driving me completely miserable. Please please advise.
Hi,
I understand your concern regarding the symptom that you mentioned. It is good that the initial diagnostic tests were fine. Infectious issues in the prostrate or urethra usually respond with antibiotic management and it is best that you continue the medication as prescribed. If it persists, it is best to check with your attending physician for further evaluation. Additional diagnostic tests may be indicated. Take care and do keep us posted.
