What is the disease called if you bite your nails to short and it grows back as skin?

How are you? Are there other symptoms present? Onychophagia or nail biting is a common compulsive habit not only in children but also in adults. This can lead to secondary infection as well as parasite and gastrointestinal issues. Other conditions related to this include dermatillomania or skin picking, dermatophagia  or skin biting. This is also more common  among children and adolescents with obsessive–compulsive disorder. Hope this helps. Take care and regards.
