Splenomegaly

by armywifehamlin, Feb 03, 2009 08:24PM
Can any one help me, I have been dealing with pain in my spleen for a year now that comes and goes, hurts alot. I found out a year ago that my spleen is enlarged twice the size of a normal spleen. But it is just staying the same size. Not getting smaller or bigger. The doctors have done alot of blood work and found nothing. They finally told me that I was probly just born with it. But I know that not to be true because I have had other CAT scans that can prove it. Well I just got a hysterectomy, and had my OBGYN look at my spleen for me.. He said that I have Omentum adherant to the spleen and it is not normal? Does anyone know what this means? And what should be done. My OBGYN took pictures of what he had found, so I have proof of my pain. Please help some one
Thank you
