I am a 60 year-old male in good health. I have had the following symptoms for 6-7 months: my fingers become flushed, puffy, swollen, pinkish, and sensitive to touch late afternoon until bedtime. It feels like sandpaper under the skin. The symptoms have increased over time. Recently, there are also red spots on my palms and a small irregular shaped red spot on my thumb. These symptoms are also apparent as the day progresses. The symptoms are less noticable, if at all, when I arise in the morning. My hands are not cold, circulation seems to be normal, although warmth is soothing. Basic neurological test results were fine. Can you help?
