Hi,
Thanks for writing in. Clots in the circulation be it in the veins or arteries tend to pass through the flow and reach other organs. In your case, clots formed in the veins of the leg, through their routine course of flow reach the iliac vein in the pelvis. From there they reach the homozygous vein and inferior vena cava and right side of the heart.
As, you are on treatment lysis of these clots and prevention of further clots is taken care by the treatment. Consult your doctor for further assistance.
