I am sorry for what you have been dealing with. I am happy to see the Lyrica is working for you. I to take Lyrica daily! It really has been a godsend!! Good luck to you!
Thanks to both you folk for the replies - really appreciated.
I have since talked to my Doctor who says the most recent of my MRI's showed none of the signs (easily detectable) of Chiari Malfunction and I can rule that one out - but a great suggestion all the same!
I have always favoured the "ear thing" as being a pilot all my life I am aware of how motion, spatial orientation etc. can all lead to fainting, vertigo etc.
I am going to pursue that one a little further as it is about the only area that has not been checked but not all that seriously.
I will repost if anything is found, thanks again!
Good news is that I have been on a new drug for aboiut five days called Lyrica and the effects have been very promising so far - actually haven;t had what I would call a major headache for 72 hours so I am hoping it is the silver bullet of medcine!
Have you been checked for Chiari Malformation?
I have to wonder if you have some kind of inner ear imbalance? I don't know, but the fluid inside your ears, there are some kind of crystals or something to this effect that can be floating around and can make you have vertigo. Not sure what it's called but perhaps I'd look into it, If brakeing & acceleration makes you pass out, then maybe it's something to do with that, cause that would be sudden motion. I don't know, just a thought.
