abnormal period

I am a 15year old girl and I started my period when I was 12.I always have a heavy flow and large clots, my feet become numb, cold and sore, I vomit every time I eat something on the first day and my lips become dry every time I have my period.my parents took me to a doctor and I was diagnosed with Low blood pressure. They also took me to a gynecologist who did a scan and found nothing. She told me that I am perfectly fine. I really need to know what is wrong with me because I can't live like this , sometimes I don't go to school when on my period because of this please help me.

Estrogen dominance causes heavy bleeding.  There is a herb called vitex or chasteberry can help balance out progesterone and estrogen but it takes a few months to kick in. You can usually find this herb at health food stores and pharmacies may stock this as well. You could try supplementing with a bio-identical progesterone product. Ask at your health food store or pharmacy.

Estrogen dominance is generally not caused by one factor, but often many factors, including:

Hormonal imbalance
Hormone therapy (HRT)
Hormonal contraceptives
Environmental estrogens
Stressful lifestyle
Glandular dysfunction

What to avoid...

Hormone laden meat (eat organic)
Transfat (check the labels for anything that has the word hydrogenated and don't buy it!).
Environmental toxins like dioxin can mimic estrogen. (Detoxing could help - you can find detoxing products at pharmacies and health food stores. Even supermarkets)
Stress (Make sure you take time out to destress and take a good multivitamin)
Estrogenic foods like soy and flax seed. Try to limit these foods in the diet.

I'm sure there are many more tips online. Google estrogen dominance for a lot more information. :)
