Thank you for your response:
I've had:
steroid pills, cortisone shot, hand therapist evaluation>grip R 60 L 5
lateral pinch R 14 L 7, 3 point pinch R 10 L 3
mri left hand ='ulnar subluxation of extensor carpi ulnaris at distal fibula and
thinning and tear at the central radial aspect of triangular fibrocartilage
>impression = ulnar impaction syndrome with ulnar positive variance and
subchondral cystic change of the adjacent proximal lunate.'
EMG/NCS = normal
vascular Doppler ultrasound = no inflammatory arthritis(dr.noted to assistant
blood flow and no blood flow area)<would that indicate something??
I do work seated at desk,  although I'm left handed I use my right for computer mouse and to answer phone...I type very little, some computer input.
The pain burning freezing numbness in both wrists and hands increases with the day. At night I use a paraffin bath this helps a lot for about an hour.
I still have no diagnosis, very upsetting. I've been referred to pain clinic.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your medical problems. I wonder if you had nerve conduction study and complete EMG. This alone would throw some light on whether it is due to pinched nerve or myopathy. A MRI of wrist should be done. Sometimes ligament injury in the wrist precipitates weakness of the hand. Please discuss these possibilities with your doctor. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
