I THINK I HAVE MUSICAL HALLUCINATIONS.  LAST MARCH I GOT VERY ILL.  I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN I LITERALY DID NOT MOVE FOR 52 HOURS.  SINCE THEN I DISCOVERED I HAD A RARE DISEASE CALLED DERCUMS DISEASE.  EVER SINCE THAT PAINFUL 52 HOURS I'VE HAD MUSIC PLAYING IN MY HEAD NONSTOP.  IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY AND I'M AFRAID TO TELL ANYONE THINKING THEY MIGHT REALLY THINK I'M CRAZY!!  does anyone out there have this problem?  if so, what were your symptoms and what helped you if any?

LOL this is not funny, buuuuuttt I also sometimes hear music at night, like when its really quiet, but thats the only time I hear it. CRAZY! It's just a very liight light sound, but I hear it, never told anyone, thinking my husband might think im crazy, or just not believe me, but now I can't sleep without my ipod.

Were you treated with IV lidocaine for Dercum's pain? This is known to produce auditory and visual hallucinations.
Try listening to music by ear phones to counter these impulses.
Do consult your doc.
