joint pain

I have severe joint pain but only while resting in my hips, knees, ankles, wrists, elbows, neck, and back. While I am working or doing physical activity, I feel no pain. I have tried Aleve, Icy Hot, Heating pad, massage chair, hot baths, Tylenol, all with no relief. I tried 1/2 of a left-over RX pain pill and it helped me sleep, but I still awoke about 5 hours later with pain. Every morning I get up and I feel like I have been beaten half to death. I get up and do something about every 15 minutes to keep from being in pain. I am always tired. This has been happening for about 6 weeks now. Please help ave no insurance.me...I h

Hi,
How are you? Joint pain may be caused by many types of injuries or conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disorder  or due to osteoarthritis, which usually involves growth of bone spurs and degeneration of cartilage at a joint.  It can also be caused by bursitis, gout, infection, injury and musculoskeletal issues. Anti inflammatory medications and warm compress may help provide relief. However, if it persists, diagnostic tests such as blood differential, joint x-ray, sedimentation rate, and blood tests specific to various autoimmune disorders may need to be done. Physical therapy for muscle and joint rehabilitation may also be indicated. Check also with your local hospital and clinics and see if there are those who can provide free consultation with out insurance. Take care and do keep us posted.
