Hi,
How is your daughter? One differential is vasculitisNecrotizing vasculitis or condition that involves inflammation in the blood vessels. This occurs if the immune system attacks blood vessels by mistake and caused by an infection, certain medicine, or other medical conditions. It is important that she evaluated further to rule this out. Laboratory tests such as erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESREnd-stage kidney disease Esr), C-reactive protein (CRP), anemia, and white blood cell count will help determine the underlying cause.
Treatment for this condition is directed toward stopping the inflammation and suppressing the immune system. Take care and do keep us posted.
