unknown vaginal ulcers since age 11

I'm a female age 23, and since the age of 11 I have had large and extremely painful vaginal ulcers. They are almost always one at a time ranging in size from a pencil eraser to larger than a quarter. I have been through a few biopsies and dozens of blood tests. Herpes, std, chrons, bechets, and hiv have all been ruled out NUMEROUS times. I have gone through oral and topical steroids, valcyclovirs, etc. As it has been over a decade I am begining to lose hope. I get one almost every couple months with no precurser or reason. I have monitored around my menstral cycle, foods, stress....nothing is consistant. PLEASE HELP ME!

How are you? I'm sorry to hear what you've been through for the past decade. Were you able to go to a gynecologist or a vulvar disease specialist? You can have this medically treated or surgically excised. It would also be helpful to determine the triggers that cause this. Some identifies hormonal as well as sexual contact as cause of their ulcers. Take care and do keep us posted.
