Fat necrosis after tram flap

by Regina50, Oct 26, 2009 12:39AM
After 3 years from my Tram Flap reconstruction I have a fat necrosis spot close to my skin on my reconstructed breast.  It is sore, It is red and it's getting darker in color. I have had an MRI and it's not cancer. My plastic surgeon says he's never seen fat necrosis like this before. He is suggesting to debris the spot, but does not think redness will go away.
Have you seen this before? What do you think would be the best solution?
Thank you.
