My tube is still draining when is it safe to return to work?

I had a mastectomy on Dec 22, 2008.  I returned to work on March 3.  Two weeks later the skin under my temporary extender implant broke through causing leakage and I had to have emergency surgery replacing the expander.  My doctor said it would be 1 week to return to work. It has been two weeks already and is now moving into three, my drainage tube is still slightly over 30 ml.  My doctor said I could return to work with this tube in place but I am skeptical.  It is painful and I'm afraid someone will bump into me etc. What are the dangers if any of working with a drainage tube attached?

The danger is of infection, persistence of drainage, and of early drain removal. So, I recommend not returning to work.
