is this a possable surgery site

I have been diagnosed as a M to F transsexual. I was addopted at the age of 18 months so I have no knowledge of any of my medical history before that time as mine was a closed addoption. I have been aware af a scar that is possitioned just between my scrotum and anus. My addopted parents know nothing of this scars origins. Is there a possability that this could be a surgery to correct a supossed "birth defect"? I know that I have been gender dysphoric for the last 25 years of my 29 years of life. I find that this is something that I must find the answers to but just need a starting point. Even without being on any hormone replacement therapy I feel more feminine and think more like a female thinks. I am not the type to do things like get into sports or anyhting that is competative. I find that I have emotional mood swings that more closely resemble that of a female. is it possable that I may have a second set of reproductive organs hidden just below the surface? I just want to know from a professional that there might be a possability before I go and spend alot of money when there is a great possability that the answer is no. Thank you for your time and consideration.

This complex issue needs to be addressed. You should be able to get a court order that will divulge your early medical care as this is going to affect your entire life . A CT scan can be done simply to determine if you have accessory organs. If you have testicles, then it is possible that you could have a uterus, not likely. But, a second method is to draw your blood and get a testosterone and estrogen blood level. This may help. I think you need to get your medical records.
