so, my Mom had a tummy tuck in the beginning of July. She had 3 hernias under her belly button and when they tried to repair it, it hasnt worked she is draining out brown puss that smells horrible. It looks like her belly button is rotted and they opened it up and put another drain in, so she now has to drains that are pouring out infectious stuff. The doc tells us to wait and see what happens over the weekend and then go from there I am worried that by the time the weekend is over the infection could spread through her body and kill her. My question is, do you think I should trust my instinct or should we wait and see ??

You should let the doctors do their jobs and treat her.
