post-op reduction fluid

by lynmr03, Sep 29, 2009 11:19AM
I had breast reduction one week ago today and there's something just not right. Everything seems to be going on schedule except....when one or both of my breasts itches, due to the swelling in each , as I scratch them, I can hear fluid moving around in there. Thinking it was only my imagination, I had my partner lean over and listen. It scared her, too. Since this was a reduction, what can possibly be all this fluid and why is it even there?

It could be an that your drains were pulled before they were done doing their job. You could always go back to your plastic surgeon and have them aspirate the fluid. It's painless.

Best wishes and I hope you like your results.
