second stage for implant reconstruction

by tina7, Sep 13, 2009 04:20PM
Hi,

I had a double mastectomy on June 12th, no further treatment was required.  Have had the expanders "filled" to the desired size and will now have the final actual implants placed in on Nov.16th.  I am just curious - will I have the drains again?  Also, what its the standard recovery period after this surgery?

Thank you so much for your help and assistance.

Tina
